Abbas wins cycle race
HYDERABAD, Sept 4: Ghulam Abbas of Pakistan Army won the 150-kilometre SSGC Karachi-Hyderabad cycle race and lifted Admiral Hassan Hafeez memorial trophy covering the distance in 3:29.06 seconds on Sunday. Asif Ali Gora (Railways) and Naveed Ali (Wapda) made it in 3:31.52 and 3:36.20 seconds to come second and third. Managing director SSGC Munawar Baseer announced on the occasion that his organisation would send a team to take part in Tour de France.
