KARACHI, Aug 31: The following were Wednesday’s commodity market rates in rupees.


Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 675 to 700; Mirpurlane 745 to 750; Nawabshah 790 to 800; Castorseed (Punjab) 775 to 835.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,600 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,050 to 2,200; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 800 to 900.

OIL SEED CAKES (per 50 kg) with bag: Cottonseed 410 to 425; Rapeseed and Mustard (40 kg) 303 to 305.


Cereals

JOWAR (per 100 kg): 1,000 to 1,200; Maize 850 to 1,000.

BARLEY (per 100 kg): (Sindh) 1,375; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,130 to 1,170; Bajra 2,050 to 2,250; Maida (80 kg) 1,150 to 1,180; Suji 1,100 to 1,160; Atta 1,030 to 1,070.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati (386) 2,000 to 2,800; Basmati Kernel 3,500 to 4,200; Basmati Whole (385) 2,200 to 2,800; Basmati broken 1,500 to 1,800; Basmati super 3,400 to 4,000; Irri-9 Punjab 1,700 to 1,800; Irri-6 Sindh 1,400 to 1,500; Irri-9 Sindh 1,500 to 1,550.
