POA delegates to attend OCA meeting

LAHORE, Aug 29: A three-member delegation of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) will attend the Olympic Council of Asia’s (OCA) various meetings to be held in China from Sept 7 to 9.

The main agenda of the meeting is next year’s Asian Games in Doha, Qatar and presentations about the Asian Games-2010 to be held in China.

The three-member delegation includes POA president Lt.Gen. Arif Hasan, acting secretary Abdul Khaliq Khan and associate secretary Col Yahya.

The OCA executive body will meet on Sept 7, followed by the meeting of secretary generals of Olympic associations of all the countries on Sept 8 and the general council meeting on Sept 9.
