GUJRANWALA, Aug 22: The Punjab government has approved Rs100 million for purchase of medicines, equipment, besides recruitment of 100 doctors, 150 nurses and 250 other paramedical staff following upgradation of the DHQ hospital.
This was stated by District Coordination Officer Khalid Masood Chaudhry while speaking at a meeting organized by Patients Welfare Organization (PWO) here on Monday.
He appreciated NGOs and other donors for running private hospitals. DHQ Medical Superintendent Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema and other senior medical officers were also present on the occasion.
