Asia Women Cup likely in December

LAHORE, Aug 20: The Pakistan Cricket Board Women Wing (PCBWW) is likely to host the first Asia Women Cricket Cup in December this year, the PCBWW Chairperson Dr. Mira Phailbus disclosed on Friday.

She said that negotiations with her counterparts in other Asian countries India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan were in process.

She said that the tournament would give an opportunity to Pakistani women to get international experience.

She said that a New Delhi-based Indian U-21 team would also tour Pakistan from Sept 26 to Oct 3 and that would provide another healthy activity to the women.
