Woman dies of hydrophobia

LARKANA, Aug 20: A woman died of hydrophobia in Allahabad locality on Friday. Ferzana, wife of Nabi Bakhsh, had been bitten by a pye-dog two months ago. Her husband left the case untreated as he could not afford to buy the anti-rabies vaccine, sources said.

She was admitted to Chandka Medical College three days ago when her illness got aggravated, but was advised to go back home as her case was untreatable.

She left behind a one-year mother-fed baby who was also ill.
