Two Iranian policemen kidnapped near border


QUETTA, Aug 20: Unidentified gunmen abducted two Iranian police officers after intercepting their vehicle in the Mund area close to the Pakistan-Iran border. The gunmen took away the vehicle in which the Iranian policemen were travelling.

Iranian security forces cordoned off the area and mounted an extensive search operation following the incident.

According to security forces, the abduction took place on the Iranian border area and the kidnappers managed to escape.

ONE KILLED: One person was killed in a collision between a pick-up and a tractor trolley at Khada Kocha, some 18 kilometres away from Mastung in Balochistan the other day.

The body of the deceased has been handed over to the legal heirs. –Online
