KARACHI, Aug 16: The following were Tuesday’s commodity market rates in rupees.


Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 740 to 750; Mirpurlane 745 to 760; Nawabshah 780 to 795; Castorseed (Sindh) 765 to 775.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,600 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,050 to 2,200; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 800 to 900.

OIL SEED CAKES (per 50 kg) with bag: Cottonseed 450 to 460; Rapeseed and Mustard (40 kg) 303 to 305.


Cereals

JOWAR (per 100 kg): 1,200 to 1,500; Maize 1,025 to 1,050.

BARLEY (per 100 kg): (Sindh) 1,300; Bajra 1,950 to 2,100; Maida (80 kg) 1,150 to 1,180; Suji 1,150 to 1,180; Atta 1,040 to 1,080.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati (386) 2,100 to 2,700; Basmati Kernel 3,400 to 4,200; Basmati Whole (385) 2,000 to 2,800; Basmati broken 1,400 to 1,800; Basmati super 3,200 to 4,000; Irri-9 Punjab 1,700 to 1,800; Irri-6 Sindh 1,400 to 1,500; Irri-9 Sindh 1,500 to 1,550.


Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash imported 2,400 to 2,800; Masoor imported 2,800 to 3,500; Moong (Punjab) 2,700 to 3,000; Moong (Sindh) 2,225 to 2,525; Gram Yellow 1,510 to 1,550; Gram imported 2,100 to 2,400; Gram white Kabli 3,800 to 4,800; Gram Black 2,050 to 2,200 Arhar 2,250 to 2,400.

WASHED (per 40 kg): Maash 1,350 to 1,450; Moong 1,400 to 1,500; Masoor 1,480 to 1,580; Arhar 980 to 1,100; Gram (100 kg) 2,300 to 2,400.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): Sugar refined 1,065 to 1,075; Khandari 1,200 to 1,300; Gur 1,200 to 1,300.

WHOLE (per 40 kg): Chillies dandicut 1,550 to 1,850; Cumminseed white 2,400 to 3,000; Cumminseed black 4,500 to 5,000; Ajwan 1,400 to 1,450; Turmeric Gantha 2,000 to 2,200; Turmeric Lambi 1,800 to 1,950; Corianderseed (No I) 1,800 to 2,200. Poultry

EGGS: Rs880 to Rs885 per crate of 30 dozens, Broiler (Live): Rs58 per kilo; Culled Bird (Live): Rs40 per kilo.

The following are the maximum retail rates for Wednesday:
