KARACHI, Aug 15: Five ships carrying containers and crude oil and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half-a-dozen ships — Irene, Banglar Urmi to unload and load general cargo, Capricorn Ace to offload cars and Iran Sattari to unload and load containers, Bow de Jin to offload oil, and Orbit to load rice — were berthed after the departure of 10.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 0.107 tons comprising 17,694 tons of export cargo and 89,410 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Sea Ranger, to load 6,500 tons of cement, Kourion, with 70,015 tons of crude oil, Cape Bona Vista, APL Pusan and Eax Sanctity, with containers.
