ISLAMABAD, Aug 7: The People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP) would brief representatives of the G-8 and the European Union countries and other diplomats on Monday about, what it claims, pre-poll rigging in the local bodies elections.

PPP Foreign Liaison Committee President Senator Enver Baig has extended invitations to the diplomats of the US, the UK, France, Germany and other countries to attend the briefing.

Talking to Dawn, Senator Baig said leader of the opposition in the Senate Raza Rabbani, Senator Latif Khosa and MNA Nayyar Bokhari would brief the diplomats at the PPP Central Secretariat about pre-poll rigging in the Punjab and Sindh.—Staff Reporter
