ISLAMABAD, Aug 5: Foreign Office spokesman Muhammad Naeem Khan on Friday hoped that the ongoing nuclear confidence-building measures talks with India would yield positive results.
“The continuing two-day Pakistan-India nuclear confidence-building measures talks would lead to a productive outcome,” PTV quoted the spokesman as saying.
He said the first day of negotiations were held in a cordial atmosphere, adding that both the sides discussed a number of proposals, including pre-notification of missile tests. The spokesman said that a statement would be issued at the end of the talks on Saturday.—APP
