KARACHI: Postponement of SPSC exam condemned

KARACHI, Aug 5: The Pakistan Medical Association strongly protests the sudden postponement of Sindh Public Service Commission exam without informing the candidates.

It was scheduled on Aug 3 at Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.

Postponement without information has resulted in a lot of mental stress and wastage of time for already about 33,000 jobless doctors.

About 18,000 male and 15,000 female doctors reached various centres in the cities on scheduled time but had to return in a very depressed mood.

There was no announcement of this postponement, a PMA statement said on Friday.

“We request the governor to take serious notice as this is quite an alarming situation for persons belonging to this noble profession,” the statement added.—PPI
