Musharraf condoles with Manmohan

NEW DELHI, July 29: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Friday spoke to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and conveyed his condolences on the death and damage caused by heavy rains in Maharashtra. President Musharraf also took the opportunity to discuss bilateral relations, External Affairs Ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna said.

President Musharraf called the Indian prime minister to express sympathy and concern over the death and destruction in Maharashtra caused by rains, prime minister’s media adviser Sanjaya Baru said.—APP
