LAHORE, July 12: Thirty-five probables were selected to finalise Punjab football team for the 18th national Youth championship to be held in Abbotabad later this month. The probables were selected after holding two-day trials at Al-Hilal ground, Arifwala.

According to camp-commandant Mubeen, 163 probables of all 34 districts of the province appeared in the trials.

The selection committee comprising Imdad Hussain Awan, Mian Abdul Bari, Shahzad, Chaudhry Abdul Rasheed, Mubeen Razzaq and Chaudhry Amjad selected the probables.

Pakistan Army will defend they title.

Probables: Rehan, Adil (Sargodha), Ali Ehsan, Ali Ishtiaq, Shahid, Azam, Haji Muhammad Hussain, Kashif (Faisalabad), Muhammad Akram, Ehsan, Muhammad Qamar, Zahid Iqbal, Asim (Khanewal), Farid (Rawalpindi), Rizwan, Ghulam Mustafa, Nadeem (Arifwala),Tanveer, Abid, Aun Shah (Bhawalpur), Ahmed Shahzad (Toba Tek Singh), Adnan, Mubarak, Arshed, Asim Mansoor, Arif (Sahiwal), Sami (Pakpattan), Mudassar, Ali Hadi (Sheikhupura), Adnan (Khushab), Imran, Irfan (Okara), Amir (Burewala), Naveed and Imran.
