KARACHI: Private boards slammed


KARACHI, July 12: The Nazim, Anjuman Talaba-i-Islam (ATI), Mohammad Ubaid Noorani, on Tuesday said secular education system of the Aga Khan and Catholic boards would not be tolerated. He demanded the government to cancel permits of these boards. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he announced to hold an ‘All Pakistan Talaba Conference’ on June 15 in Karachi to devise a common strategy against secular educational boards.

He said realizing that the ideology of Pakistan was based on Islamic principles, the government should introduce an Islamic education system in the country.—PPI
