KARACHI, July 12: The organisers, producers, directors and artists have been advised to obtain NOC from the Director Information Films before organising or performing at any pantomime, musical, stage and fashion shows at any auditorium/hall. Pointing out that higher authorities have taken serious notice of this irregularity, a spokesman of the Information Department has warned that any organiser, producer, director or artist deviating the rules will be banned and declared blacklisted. The NOC is mandatory under DPA rules, he said.

He said legal action under DPA rules u/s 176 PPC, 294 PPC and Section 124-A would be taken in such cases which will include seizure of premises, imprisonment for a term, which may extend to three months or fine with both.

He said publicity of any programme through any means can be made after obtaining NOC from Director Information Films, under DPA rules. However, complete documents for any show and drama script should be submitted at least seven days and 15 days before the programme respectively.—APP
