KARACHI, July 7: Three ships carrying coal and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships — Thor Captain, Hyndai Sprinter, Y.M. Fortune, Kota Teraju, Ganmar Success and Global Princess to unload and load containers and Sea Basen to offload DAP fertilizer — were berthed.

Five vessels, Manila Bay, Global Princess, APL Cairo, Arebla, and Shalamar departed, while Y.M. Fortune, Rubin Stella, Golden Express, Kota Teraju and Eax Sanctity are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 97,225 tons comprising 11,746 tons of export cargo and 85,479 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Iran Baabaei, Sagamore, with containers and COS Lucky, with 43,591 tons of coal.
