Rice export to China


ISLAMABAD, June 21: Pakistan and Chinese officials on Tuesday reviewed the export of Pakistani rice to China and discussed at length the matters related to processing, storage and packing of the rice.

The issue was discussed in a meeting held here between a four-member Chinese delegation headed by Bai Zhanghong, Deputy Director CIQ, Pudong, Shanghai and Muhammad Mumtaz Sheikh, Additional Secretary, Minfal. The Additional Secretary assured the delegation of ensuring international quality standards in the export of rice.—APP
