LONDON, June 20: European stock exchanges wilted on Monday, weighed down by surging oil prices and corporate news. The London FTSE 100 index slipped 0.11 per cent to 5,072 while in Paris the CAC 40 shed 0.65 per cent to close at 4,193.40. In Frankfurt the DAX gave up 0.38 per cent to end the day at 4,586.86.—AFP
