Most of Sukkur without power

SUKKUR, June 12: Power supply to a major part of the city could not be restored on Sunday even after 24 hours after a breakdown caused by a storm. There has also been no water supply to more than 40 per cent people of the city because a water supply line busted near Numaish.

When contacted, a Hesco official said complete restoration of power supply would take another 10 to 12 hours.—Correspondent
