NAWABSHAH, June 12: Different parts of the interior of Sindh received rains on Sunday. In the Nawabshah district, Shama, 15, daughter of Jamal Qureshi, was injured when a wall of her house in Sakrand collapsed. She was admitted to the PMC Hospital.

Daur, Bandhi, Jam Saheb, Sakrand, Qazi Ahmad and Daulatpur also received rains followed by duststorm.

Power supply to the city remained suspended due to felling of electricity poles and wires. Trees were uprooted in many areas due to strong winds.

According to the local Met office, the city received 26.3mm rains till the filing of this report.

KHAIRPUR: Date and mango orchards in Thehri, Babarloi and Priyaloi were badly affected in rain on Saturday evening.

Trees and electricity poles were uprooted in areas of Bhano Goth, Thehri Pul, National Highway and the Khairpur Central Jail road, causing an eight-hour electricity breakdown.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: The district received light rain on Sunday noon.

Power supply was suspended twice for half an hour.

DADU: Different parts of the district, including Dadu, Johi, Khudabad, Phulji, Khairpur Nathan Shah, Sita Road, Mehar, Radhan and Jhallo, received heavy rain for the second consecutive day on Sunday.
