KARACHI, June 7: Ten ships carrying rock phosphate, containers, and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to the KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was slow where three ships, Kota Teraju, to unload and load containers, Swat, to offload crude oil and Botany Trust to load ethanol were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Bunga Terasek, Al-Jazy and Barge AKN-100, while Swat and Mearsk Alaska are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves active as the total 84,021 tons of cargo comprising 12,984 tons of export including 3,088 tons of rice and 71,037 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Lalazar, with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Lady Jasmine, to load 8,500 tons of molasses, Corn Thaikos, Orient Prosperity, Kota Wangsa, Sinar Bontang, Hyudani Highway and YM Sun, with containers, Heng Tai, with machinery and Sargodha, with 17,400 tons of rock phosphate.
