Annan condemns blast

UNITED NATIONS, May 27. UN Secretary General Kofi Annan on Friday condemned the bomb blast at a shrine in Islamabad that killed at least 20 people and injured many more. A statement released here said that the UN chief “is outraged by repeated targeting of civilians at their place of worship.’ Mr Annan called on Pakistan authorities to spare no effort to bring those responsible to justice.
