KARACHI, May 20: The Jamaat-i-Islami Karachi has strongly protested over the continuous and unannounced load shedding of power, and demanded the government to immediately being a halt to the process. In separate statements on Friday, Amirs of JI Karachi districts Mohammad Hussain Mehanti, Shamim Pasha and others, it was said that power interruption not only disturbed the working of industries, but students, appearing in exams, patients, admitted to hospitals, and citizens also faced hardships.—PPI
