KARACHI, May 12: Seven ships including a car carrier with 1,050 units are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where eight vessels, Café Ferro, Sagamore, Y.M.Energy, to unload and load containers, Panama Express, to offload steel, Le He to unload general cargo, Lalazar and Bow Petros, to unload crude and palm oil and Fearless, to load naphtha were berthed.

Four ships, APL Cairo, Maersk Aleska, Kota Wangi and G. Elephant departed on Thursday, while Y.M.Energy, Weng, Cape Ferro, Le He, Golden Express, Lalazar and Fearless are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 93,219 tons comprising 28,854 tons of export cargo including 2,436 tons of rice and 64,365 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Y.M.Faha, Elbe Oldendroff, Iran Baabaei, Kota Teraju and Wan Hai-267, with containers, Heroic Ace, with 1,050 vehicles and Sargodha, with general cargo.
