KARACHI: IJT demands killers’ arrest

KARACHI, May 8: The Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) has announced to besiege the Sindh Assembly on Monday to register a protest against the failure to arrest the killers of its activist, Farhan Asif. An IJT press release issued on Sunday said thousands of students of the Karachi University, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Sindh Medical College, Urdu varsity, Jamia Millia, GCT College and other city institutions would besiege the Sindh Assembly building on Monday at 10am, and observe a sit-in against ‘patronage’ of the killers.

Meanwhile, the leader of opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Nisar Khuhro, demanded that the killers of Farhan Asif be arrested immediately.—PPI
