Three killed in clash

BAHAWALPUR, May 5: Three people of the two rival groups were reportedly killed on Thursday night in an exchange of fire over a land dispute near Mubarakpur, about 30kms from here. The two rival groups of the Ghalloo clan had an enmity. On Thursday night, men of both the groups opened fire on each other at Basti Ismailpura. As a result, Shah Muhammad, Gaman and Uzair died on the spot.

The police station concerned confirmed the incident, but the official said that no case had been registered so far as none of the rival group approached the police.
