KARACHI: Rs20 million allocated for Manzoor Colony


KARACHI, May 2: Sindh Minister for Mines, Irfanullah Khan Marwat, has said that the provincial government has allocated Rs20 million for development works in Manzoor Colony. Addressing at a public meeting in his constituency on Monday, the minister said that development works were still continued and pledged that more projects of roads, drainage system, streets and water supply would be carried out in the area.

He said that the government had made promises for the betterment of the masses, which were being fulfilled so that the masses could live a better life.

The provincial minister listened to area peoples’ complaints and issued directives to official concerned to solve the problems.

“A large numbers of posts are lying vacant in government institutions for which interviews are under progress,” he said and added that they would help eliminating the unemployment from the province.

After the meeting, provincial minister inspected the ongoing development works in the area and issued orders to complete the projects within stipulated timeframe. —PPI
