KARACHI, April 20: The City Naib Nazim, Tariq Hasan, has directed officials of the city government to profusely illuminate government buildings, particularly city government ones and the City Council so that Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) could be celebrated in a befitting manner.

He directed the Works and Services Department to beautifully decorate roads, roundabouts and high-rises with colourful lights.

He instructed that special care be taken of cleanliness on the occasion, particularly along the routes of milad processions and at places of milad mehfils.

Mr Tariq said he would himself visit concerned places along with officials and review the situation of cleanliness.

He greeted the people on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and said as Muslims everyone should pledge to exercise his teachings.—APP
