Azerbaijan president due today
ISLAMABAD, April 11: Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev will arrive here on a two-day visit on April 12 and discuss bilateral relations, particularly trade and economic cooperation. His country’s deputy prime minister, foreign minister and officials will accompany President Aliyev. He will hold talks with the president on April 12. He will also meet the prime minister and the two leaders will witness signing of agreements.

The two countries will sign agreements on cooperation in the fields of communications and information technology, culture, finance and education.

The talks are likely to focus on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly trade and economic cooperation.

Azerbaijan supports Pakistan’s candidature for membership of the Transport Corridor Europe, Caucasus and Asia.—APP
