Musharraf condoles pope’s death
ISLAMABAD, April 9: President General Pervez Musharraf visited the embassy of Holy See on Saturday and expressed his heart-felt condolences on the death of Pope John Paul II.

Ambassador of Holy See in Islamabad Archbishop Alessandro D’ Errico received him.

Recording his remarks in the condolence book, the president wrote: “In the very shocking demise of His Holiness Pope John Paul II, the world has lost a champion of peace, amity, harmony and co-existence.”—APP
