The skipper showed the object to umpire Billy Bowden. However, the Pakistani team agreed to play on after a few minutes and no unpleasant then took place.

There were also reports of a stone or two thrown at the bus which was taking the Pakistani team to Jamshedpur by road on Wednesday after they flew into nearby Ranchi.
