KARACHI, April 9: Canadian star Jonathon Power and Lee Beachill will meet in the final of the Bermuda PSA Masters after the sixth-seeded Canadian toppled Scotland’s John White in a dramatic five-game marathon and Beachill breezed to a straight games win over England team-mate Peter Nicol in the other semifinal.
Power outlasted a spirited White 11-5, 10-11, (3-5), 11-8, 10-11 (0-2), 11-4 after a battle that lasted 89 minutes.
For Beachill it was a stroll against Nicol as he breezed past the former world number one 11-9, 11-6, 11-8 in just 47 minutes.—PPI
