Pakistan good place for foreign investors


ISLAMABAD, March 26: Senate Chairman Mohammadmian Soomro on Saturday said a lot of investment opportunities with better infrastructure facilities and conducive business environment were available in the country. He said “there is also tremendous scope of investment in dairy products in Pakistan”. He stated this during a meeting with Al-Jomaih Holding Company Chairman Shaikh Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Jomaih who called on him here on Saturday. Matters pertaining to the Saudi company’s investment plans and business in Pakistan came under discussion during the meeting. Mr Hamad who is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of the Senate chairman evinced keen interest to invest in various sectors in Pakistan.

He intended to meet various Pakistani officials to explore possibilities of investment during his visit.

Sindh Chief Minister Dr. Arab Ghulam Rahim who was also present on the occasion apprized the Saudi investor of the investment potential and opportunities in the province.

BoI Chairman Waseem Haqqie gave an overview of the government’s investment policy and attractive incentives for foreign investment.—APP
