BEIJING, March 20: England’s Paul Casey notched up his fourth title on the European Tour when he beat Irishman Paul McGinley to win the TCL Classic in China on Sunday. The 27-year-old Ryder Cup player beat McGinley on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff at Yalong Bay Golf Club on Hainan Island, the European Tour’s second visit to China of the 2005 season. McGinley started the day in 10th place but had a fantastic final round nine-under-par 63, matching the course record set by Danny Chia in 2003.

Perry clings to lead
TORONTO: American Kenny Perry was clinging to a one-stroke lead over Canada’s Stephen Ames when third round play at the Bay Hill Invitational was called off due to poor light on Saturday with Vijay Singh charging up the leaderboard.
