NAWABSHAH: Balochistan operation condemned

By Our Correspondent

NAWABSHAH, March 20: The People’s Party Parliamentarians has condemned the Balochistan operation and demanded that the issue should be resolved through negotiations. Talking to journalists here on Sunday, acting district PPP president MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio accused the government of intentionally creating instability in Balochistan.

He maintained that consequences of the Balochistan operation would be dangerous for the country’s integrity. “The parliamentary committee on the Balochistan issue seems powerless and hidden forces are creating panic and disturbances in the province”, he observed.

Mr Chandio said poverty had increased in the country and the law and order situation was poor.

He said the country was facing crisis due to wrong policies of the government. He demanded that the power should be handed over to real representatives of public through free elections to make the country stable and prosperous.
