Rice arrives in Delhi to explore Bush’s visit

NEW DELHI, March 15: US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice arrived here on Tuesday to explore a likely visit to South Asia later this year by President George W. Bush, her agenda including India-Pakistan relations, Iran’s nuclear quest and its likely impact on the gas pipeline to India, Afghanistan and offer of arms to any friend who needs them.

A bland official version of her agenda highlighted talks on “further expansion of cooperation in security, economy, technology and other areas.”
