Pak troops attacked: ISLAMABAD, March 02: A group of the Pakistan army personnel were attacked in Mehsud tribe's area in South Waziristan. The troops were attacked when they were bringing water for setting up a camp. According to the BBC the assailants suddenly opened fire injuring two soldiers. Other soldiers returned the fire leaving two of the assailants wounded. They were arrested while other escaped. (PPI) (Posted @ 14:05 PST) 
Gunmen kill Iraqi judge and son on tribunal for Saddam: BAGHDAD, March 02: Gunmen shot dead in Baghdad an Iraqi investigative judge and his son, who were working on the special tribunal set up for trying Saddam Hussein, a source close to the Iraqi courts told AFP. (AFP) (Posted @ 10:50 PST)

Madrid bombers had plan to hit New York's Grand Central: report - MADRID, March 02: The people who bombed suburban trains in Madrid last year had also planned to attack New York's Grand Central railway station, having in their possession a detailed plan of the building on a computer disk, the El Mundo daily said today, quoting sources close to the investigation into the blasts.
