Government denies CIA agents engaged in local hunt for bin Laden: ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: Government today denied a report that CIA agents were searching for al-Qaeda network chief Osama bin Laden on its soil. "No CIA agent is operating in Pakistan to track down Osama bin Laden and all anti-terror operations are being carried out by our own security agencies," foreign ministry spokesman Masood Khan said. He also contradicted a U.S. Congressional report that CIA agents are working in Pakistan as part of the anti-terror drive and in the hunt for bin Laden. Musharraf as COAS. These views were expressed by the alliance's central leader and Jamaat-e- Islami, Punjab Ameer Liaquat Baloch MNA while talking with this news agency here today. In the second round, he said million marches would be held in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi while caravans would also be organized to mobilize masses against the undemocratic and unconstitutional government. Ulema, lawyers and labourers will also hold convention at provincial headquarters of the party. " Sindh assembly is the apex forum of the province elected by the masses to debate the issues and it would be appropriate to bring all the facts before the house instead of hurling daily the baseless accusations against me," he said while addressing a press conference at the office of Deputy Speaker, Sindh assembly Ms. Rahila Tiwana during prayer break of the session. Police arrests three suspected militants: KARACHI, Feb 28: Police arrested three suspected militants, who had been plotting attacks on rivals, in raids in Karachi and seized grenades and pistols, officials said today. The suspects were members of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi group blamed by police for a spate of attacks on members of the minority Shi'ite Muslim community, they said. Two members of the group identified as Mohammed Ishaq and Imran were arrested said Gul Hameed Sumo, an additional deputy inspector general of police. "Several hand grenades and automatic pistols were found in their possession," he said.
