Indian experts invited to US

NEW DELHI, Feb 12: The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has invited Indian scientists to discuss ways to protect nuclear reactors from tsunami and other disasters, a news report said on Saturday.

Representatives of India's Atomic Energy Regulatory Board will also discuss reactor operations and maintenance on their six-month visit to the United States, The Indian Express newspaper quoted NRC commissioner Jeffrey S. Merrifield as saying.-AP
