RAWALPINDI, Feb 10: President General Pervez Musharraf on Thursday reiterated Pakistan's moral, political and diplomatic support for Kashmiris' inalienable rights , saying that Islamabad was for a just and negotiated resolution of the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

The president said this during a meeting with AJK President Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan who called on him on Thursday.

In the context of Pakistan-India peace process, the president said the confidence-building measures and the composite dialogue "should move in tandem".

For any Kashmir solution to be durable it has to be acceptable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and they also have to be included in the dialogue process, the president said.

He added that the government would continue to extend assistance for the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
