Nation celebrates Eid today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 20: Eidul Azha will be celebrated across the country on Friday with religious fervour and a renewed pledge to forge Muslim unity and national solidarity.

Hundreds of thousands of Muslims will assemble in mosques and Eidgahs to offer Eid prayers. Special prayers for the liberation of all occupied Muslim territories, particularly Jammu and Kashmir, Iraq and Palestine, will be offered.

Prayers for strengthening national solidarity, integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan would be offered. Ulema will deliver special sermons to highlight the significance of the day.-APP
