Job quota being violated, says AJK PM

By Our Staff Correspondent

MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 12: AJK Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat has drawn the attention of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to alleged violation of AJK residents' quota in federal services, official sources told Dawn here on Sunday.

In a letter to Mr Aziz, the AJK prime minister said that some institutions and organizations of the federal government were not observing the two per cent job quota for the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.

Mr Hayat said he had been told that the quota was also violated during the recruitment of trainee officers in Pakistan International Airlines last year.
