LAHORE, Dec 12: Two people were killed in separate accidents in the city on Sunday. Police said that Ms Shahnaz, 23, was standing at a bus stop at Kot Abdul Malik when a rashly-driven van hit her.
She sustained critical injuries and died in hospital. Shahab Ahmad, 33, was also hit and killed by a truck in Shahdara. Both the bodies were returned to families without autopsy.
LOOTED: Dawn staffer Mohammad Rashid was deprived of his purse containing cash, his identity, office and ATM cards by two motorcyclists in Ichhra in the wee hours of Sunday when he was on his way home in Windsor Park from office.
