LAHORE, Dec 7: The government has ordered payment of December salaries to the Christian employees throughout the country before Christmas, and the accountant general's offices are making arrangements for the same.

The Punjab accountant general issued directions for disbursement of salaries to his office and district accounts offices while presiding over a meeting of the review committee here on Tuesday.

He said the Christian employees in the city district should submit their computer change forms at the AG's Office by Dec 15. Christian gazetted officers drawing salaries from the AG's Office and the drawing and disbursement officers in the city district should contact the AG's Office or the PIFRA director in the event of any difficulty in respect of payment of salaries.
