Conference on CNG


KARACHI, Dec 2: The government will provide investment incentives to the private sector to encourage green buses in large urban centres.

This was stated by Petroleum and Natural Resources Minister Amanullah Khan Jadoon at the inauguration of a conference on "Pakistan-Iran joint cooperation in CNG sector" held here on Thursday.

The minister said the government was devising a policy package for this purpose. He assured that the government would consider recommendations of the conference to promote local manufacturing of CNG machinery and equipment.

Head of the 50-member Iranian delegation, Ali Hamidi and CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan Chairman Malik Khuda Bukhsh also spoke on the occasion. -APP
