PESHAWAR, Nov 7: A non-governmental organization would serve legal notice on two employees of the accountant general office, Peshawar, for misappropriating pension and other funds of a former schoolteacher.

According to a press release issued here on Sunday, a meeting of WAGMA (Women Awareness in the Globalisation of Modern Era to Acquire their Fundamental Rights), was held under the chairmanship of its director, Younas Ikramullah Durrani.

The meeting discussed the case of Ms Rasheeda Akhter, a former headmistress whose funds were misappropriated by some employees of the AG Office.

The meeting was informed that one of the accused had returned Rs150,000 to the teacher, whereas the rest of the amount was with other two employees.

The legal cell of the organization, headed by Advocate Wilayat Ali Shah, would contest her case and serve legal notices on the persons responsible.
