KARACHI, Oct 17: The deputy secretary-general of the Pakistan People's Party, Mian Raza Rabbani, has said that the PPP would decide its future strategy against the present regime's unconstitutional steps, at the meeting of its central executive committee that would be approved at the ARD's central session.

In his statement issued on Sunday, he said that President Gen Musharaf was using the members of, what he called, "government league" for his own interests against the Parliament and the Constitution.

He said that the decision of some opposition parties' to resign from the parliament was premature, clarifying that the PPP, along with other parties, would not hesitate to offer any sacrifice to save the Constitution and federation.

He said that a joint session of the ARD and the MMA would be held, and hoped that the united opposition would agree on some strategy against the unconstitutional moves of the government. -PPI
