MINGORA, Sept 19: The citizen community boards in Swat have formed a coordination council with the district coordination officer as its patron-in-chief. The council will resolve issues being faced by the CCBs.

Office-bearers of the council are: Amjad Ali of community welfare society, CB union council, Islampur, chairperson and Syed Hazrat Hussein of CCB union council Ghaligay, senior vice chairperson.

While Mrs Ruqia Bibi of Sabza Zar CCB union council Madyan was elected vice-chairperson; Imdadullah of Elum CCB union council Madyan, general secretary; Shah Adil Khan of Pawaz CCB union council Hazara, deputy general secretary; Miss Mina of Rana CCB union council Banr, joint secretary.

Ghani Raziq of Khidmat-i-Khalq citizen community boards union council Manglawar was elected finance secretary; Syed Ghani of Apple CCB union council Arkot, press secretary; Mutasarif Khan of Zamidar Rorwali CCB Aboha, coordinator, and Nilofer Bibi of Lawaz CCB union council Gul Kada, office secretary.

According to a statement, issued from the office of the coordination council here on Sunday, the DCO has asked all the officials concerned to extend cooperation to the council for the development and smooth running of the citizen community boards' activities in the district.
