Pakistan boxers for Vietnam

KARACHI, Sept 15: Pakistan will compete in the Asian Cadet Boxing Championship, 2004 to be held at Hanoi, Vietnam from Oct 25 to 31.

The championship will be held in 13 different weight categories that are: 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and 86kg.

Secretary Pakistan Boxing Federation Shakeel Durrani said on Wednesday that "we have received the invitation from organizers of the championship and we were keen to send our pugilists to participate in the event." He said that there were many talented pugilists in their fold who were capable of bringing laurels to the country. -PPI
